From Schladming up to the Tauplitz in Ausseerland

We start in Schladming and take the B 320 via Haus im Ennstal and Aich to Pruggern, where we turn right onto the L 712 heading east. We pass Moosheim, Stein an der Enns, Öblarn (L 734), Niederöblarn before we turn left before Irdning onto the B 75 in the direction of Pürgg-Trautenfels and then drive on the B 145 past the village of Tauplitz to finally reach Bad Mitterndorf or Thörl on the Tauplitz alpine road. After about 700 m altitude difference and 10 km distance we reach the Tauplitz high plateau with impressive views of the surrounding mountains. Return to Aich, where we turn right in the direction of Weißenbach bei Haus and follow the Rössing road (L 725) until we reach the Birnberg junction. Via Birnberg we return to the Untere Klausstraße to Schladming.
