Coming from Schladming: Turn right before the bridge overpass at Trautenfels Castle and take the first exit at the traffic circle towards Irdning. Follow this road, which leads over a railroad crossing and over the Ennsbrücke bridge. Turn left at the village sign and park at the large parking lot of the Irdning recreational facility/sports field.

Coming from Liezen: Turn right before the bridge overpass at Trautenfels Castle and take the 3rd exit at the traffic circle towards Irdning. Follow this road, which leads over a railroad crossing and over the Enns bridge. Turn left at the village sign and park at the large parking lot of the Irdning recreational facility/sports field.

The starting point for this running circuit is the leisure center in Irdning, from where you set off in the direction of the main square. At the crossroads, take the turn-off to the right towards Donnerbach.

Shortly afterwards, you reach another crossroads and follow the signs towards Öblarn. You will soon come to a traffic circle - take the third exit and follow the Ennsradweg.

This takes you to the next junction with a view of the majestic Grimming, which leads you to Niederstuttern. Passing a small farm, you reach the Enns, cross the bridge and then turn right to continue along the Ennsradweg.

After a few kilometers, you will reach a crossroads where you cross the railroad tracks. From there, the trail continues in the direction of the striking Trautenfels Castle. At the large parking lot at the crossroads, turn right again and follow the signs back to Irdning - until you arrive back at the leisure facility.

By train to “Stainach-Irdning” and then by bus 940/941 to “Irdning Abzweigung Donnersabch”.
