Scenic Bike & Hike tour to Duisitzkarsee. The ascent follows the signposted Rohrmoos Loop to the Eschach parking area, which is the ideal starting point for a hike to one of the most beautiful mountain lakes in the region.
From Schladming, the tour follows the Rohrmoos Loop 303 through varied landscapes on forest and asphalt roads towards Eschachalm. Along the way, you are accompanied by streams and beautiful views. At the Eschach parking area, the bike is parked. From here, the hike to Duisitzkarsee begins. Alternatively, the Eschachalm loop or the circular hike Neualm – Duisitzkarsee are also possible options.
After the hike, you can either return via the same route or continue the loop back to Schladming.

From Salzburg:
Follow the A10 to Altenmarkt. There join the B320 and continue in the direction of Liezen. At the Schladming exit, turn right at the Jet petrol station and follow Coburgstraße to the Planai car park on the left.
From Graz:
Follow the A9 to Liezen. There join the B320 and continue in the direction of Schladming. At the Schladming exit, turn left at the Jet petrol station and follow Coburgstraße to the Planai car park on the left.
The tour starts at the Planet Planai valley station in Schladming. From there, follow the signs of the Rohrmoos Loop 303 and ride via Rohrmoos on forest and asphalt roads towards Obertal / Eschachalm. The route climbs steadily through varied landscapes up to the Eschach parking area, where the bike is parked.

- Eschachalm loop: the shortest option at the end of the Obertal valley with about 30 minutes walking time
- Hike to the natural gem Duisitzkarsee: about 2 to 2.5 hours walking time from Eschachalm
- Circular hike Neualm – Duisitzkarsee: about 4 to 4.5 hours walking time
- Hiking: Three great options – Duisitzkarsee, Obertal alpine loop or the circular hike Neualm – Duisitzkarsee
- Refreshments: Places to stop at Eschachalm and along the hiking routes
- Option: If you still have energy, you can continue along the Rohrmoos Loop
- Return: Alternatively, ride back via the Talbach Gorge to Schladming
Take the train from Radstadt or St. Michael to Schladming. From there 3 min by bike to the starting point.
Or directly to the "Planet Planai" stop, where there are rental options on site.
