Traditional costume band Ramsau am Dachstein

The Tracht Music Band Ramsau am Dachstein has stood for lived tradition, musical passion, and strong community spirit for almost a century.
With around 60 dedicated musicians, the TMK is an integral part of cultural life in Ramsau – from festive events to lively brunch concerts and atmospheric performances.
Founded in 1926, the band has always connected tradition and modernity: classical brass music and march music meet modern arrangements, with young talents making music side by side with experienced musicians.

A special trademark is the blue Ramsauer Tracht, which, along with the characteristic sound and unmistakable cohesion, shapes the identity of the band.
In addition to musical quality, the TMK Ramsau am Dachstein also places great importance on youth work with the Ramsauer Jugendklang: Many young musicians find their first musical home here.
Under the leadership of Ronny Dornig and Andreas Engelhardt and with the great commitment of the entire team, the Trachten Music Band Ramsau am Dachstein ensures that music and community remain vibrant in the region – authentic, sonorous, and with passion.
