Marlene Schaumberger

Biography
Born 1983 in Schwarzach - Land Salzburg, she lives and works at the foot of Reiteralm - Schladming. In 2012, she trained as a cultural manager. She works as a freelance artist and manages the ARTelierzeffererHOF. Since 2013, she also runs the KinderAtelier. She has had many solo and group exhibitions since 2004. 

Member of the Professional Association of Visual Artists Austria.
With many solo and group exhibitions since 2004, her work is publicly present. She has already curated exhibitions, including at the art BV Berchtoldvilla. She has taken on various artistic leadership roles and created the artwork for the cover image of a picture book with contemporary historical documents. She looks back on purchases by municipalities and artistic collaborations with various companies. She manages the Facebook page and Instagram of the Professional Association of Visual Artists /art bv Berchtoldvilla/ Regional Association Salzburg. 

Exhibitions in: Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, Estonia, Lithuania, Italy, Hungary, Finland, Serbia. 

The creative process begins in her sketchbooks. In her works, she often connects the world of legends and puts it in dialogue with the present. Her works playfully combine and create something new. The present is reflected through invented stories that are humorously interconnected. In her works, we find powerful brushstrokes, magical abstractions, and colorful experiences. Her paintings are often presented together with her installations.
