The market town of Öblarn is located in the heart of the Schladming-Dachstein adventure region and combines vibrant tradition with a high quality of life. Öblarn is especially renowned for the Öblarn Folk Theatre Festival, held every five years, where over 300 amateur actors transform the entire town into a stage – making it the largest amateur theatre production in the Alpine region. Cultural highlights also include the Ku:L Art and Cultural Centre and the modern ÖHA – Öblarn House for All.
