Wintergrillen with Johann Lafer

When the grill grates glow on the Schafalm and the scent of freshly grilled food wafts over the snow-covered peaks, it’s clear: It’s time for the legendary winter grill event with Johann Lafer!

On Sunday, March 21, 2027, the star chef from Styria invites you to an extraordinary culinary experience on the terrace of the Schafalm – directly below the mountain station of the Planai cable car. Amidst the breathtaking winter scenery, everyone grills, cooks, laughs, and of course enjoys.

Under the professional guidance of Johann Lafer, participants will prepare an exclusive three-course menu – specially created for this event and inspired by the regional cuisine of Styria. On high-quality Weber grills, exquisite dishes will be created that show grilling is far from just a summer activity.

In small teams of eight, participants will chop, marinate, and grill together at the grill tables. The master chef shares his best tips & tricks, reveals creative techniques for perfect grilling in the snow, and provides a delightful atmosphere with his charming demeanor.

The winter grill event is not only a feast for the palate but also for all the senses – accompanied by a special mission: Enjoy together, learn something new, and elevate the winter grilling pleasure to a new level.
