John Jones, the powerful and charismatic voice of the legendary Oysterband, embarks on a new musical chapter following the band's farewell. With Ray Cooper aka Chopper and Al Scott, he brings two long-time companions from the Oysterband circle onto the stage.
The Oysterband has been one of the defining folk, rock, and roots bands of the British music scene since the 1980s, has won multiple awards, and has thrilled audiences at major festivals across Europe.
In the John Jones Trio, strong songs, traditional sounds, new music, and decades of stage presence come together. With a variety of instruments, the three musicians present a diverse program of their own songs, pieces from their back catalog, and traditional songs.
An evening for all who love British folk, roots, and honest, handcrafted music.
