MOUNTAIN time - OUT time - OFF time

Between rustic alpine pastures, deep green forests and the ever-present view of the mighty Hohen Dachstein, a hike unfolds that is among the most impressive experiences in the region.

The path from the toll road to the Dachstein gondola valley station takes us on selected trails through a varied landscape – calm, unspoiled, and far away from the hustle and bustle. Passing by original alpine pastures and through quiet forest passages, a diverse nature experience arises that has its very own character in any weather. Especially in changing weather, the region reveals its mystical side – an experience that remains memorable for a long time.

With each step, the destination draws closer: the Dachsteinsuedwand hut, impressively located right at the foot of the massive south face. With a view of a spectacular backdrop, we enjoy regional delicacies before we set out for the return journey, re-energized.

The circular tour offers sufficient flexibility to adapt it to all participants and conditions.

This guided hike is aimed at everyone who wants to experience the mountains around the Dachstein in a special way – on selected paths, with exciting insights and moments that remain memorable for a long time.
