In the highest natural pharmacy on the Planneralm, the valuable larch oil has been produced according to ancient tradition. For more than 60 years, in summer, the heating boiler is fired up on the Planneralm to transform the young shoots of the larch (crooked pine) into the beneficial oil.
Guided Tour – Discover the World of the Larch
Our tours offer a unique insight into the alpine healing plant world and traditional distillation.
What to Expect:
- Scent room – experience the healing power of the larch up close
- Behind the scenes – the production of our essential oil
- Foot bath – relax with larch (with advance registration)
- Cost: € 7,- per person
- free on Monday and Thursday with the Schladming-Dachstein Card
Dogs are welcome, please keep them on a leash.
Registration: 1 day before the tour on open days.

Opening period: May 14 to October 15, 2026
Every Monday and Thursday at 10:30 a.m.
Registration by Sunday at 12:00 p.m. On all other days, the guided tour is not included in the Schladming-Dachstein Card, but is available for a fee and with advance registration.
