Guided glacier hike

The fascination of the glacier fields of the Dachstein – in contrast, the high alpine pastures of this unique landscape. Guided hike from the mountain station of the Dachstein Glacier Cable Car (2,700 m) to the Guttenberghaus (2,146 m) and descent via the Lärchbodenalm to the Feisterer parking lot.

Meeting Point

• 08:00 a.m., base station Dachstein Glacier Cable Car
• Starting point and destination are different, so do not drive up the Dachstein road.
• You take the first scheduled bus (960) departing from Schladming Rathausplatz (07:20) or Ramsau Kulm, which ends at the base station of the Dachstein Glacier Cable Car (8:00 a.m.). The mountain guide will announce themselves on the bus, and the gondola will be reserved for you.

Tour

• Hiking time: approx. 6 hours, the tour ends around 12:00 p.m. at the Guttenberghaus, descent is independent
• medium-difficulty terrain, only possible with good equipment and good stamina
• Ascent by scheduled bus, access options along the main road at each stop possible

Hiking not suitable for dogs!

Only for enduring and experienced hikers!
Ascent of Dachstein Glacier Cable Car only once in 7 days and free with a minimum stay of 2 nights with the summer card! Bus ride is unlimited, toll fee will be collected on the bus.

The tour takes place only if snow conditions permit.
