„Fakten, Daten, Leiden - Dachstein Dialoge 2026
Eva Nowotny and Reinhard Steurer will speak at the Dachstein Dialogues 2026 about trust in science, societal responsibility, and current challenges of our time.
The Dachstein Dialogues 2026 invite you once again to inspiring encounters, lectures, discussions, and concerts in Ramsau am Dachstein and Filzmoos from September 18 to 24, 2026. Under the motto “What can I trust?”, the international festival for tolerance combines social dialogue, culture, and music with the unique mountain backdrop of the Schladming-Dachstein region.
With “Facts, Data, Passion – Scientists and the Struggle for Trust”, visitors can expect an exciting discussion event about credibility, communication, and social trust. Diplomat Eva Nowotny and climate scientist Reinhard Steurer will discuss why trust in institutions, politics, and science is increasingly under pressure and how it can be strengthened again in a complex world. Central questions will focus on emotions, communication, and the handling of global crises, as well as the role of science and politics in social debates.
The Dachstein Dialogues create a special connection of nature, culture, and social exchange, making Ramsau am Dachstein and Filzmoos inspiring places of encounter.
