Die Psychologie des Vertrauens - Dachstein Dialoge 2026

The Dachstein Dialogues 2026 invite you again from September 18 to September 24, 2026 to inspiring encounters, lectures, discussions, and concerts in Ramsau am Dachstein and Filzmoos. Under the motto “What Can I Trust?”, the international festival for tolerance connects social dialogue, culture, and current future issues with the impressive mountain backdrop of the Schladming-Dachstein region.

With the workshop “The Psychology of Trust”, visitors can expect an exciting insight into the mechanisms of trust, influence, and manipulation. Participants will engage with the psychological foundations of building trust and learn how trust can be deliberately shaped, but also deliberately abused. There will also be a look at strategies from trickery, deception, and magic, exploring the question of why people sometimes believe things that are objectively untrue.

The workshop connects psychological insights with practical examples and invites participants to view trust, perception, and manipulation from new perspectives. The Dachstein Dialogues thus create space for new ideas and social exchange in a special atmosphere.
