Castle of Großsölk
In six rooms of the castle, visitors can learn interesting facts about the nature and history of the nature park.
The small Großsölk Castle was originally a resting place and stopover for muleteers on their way to the Sölk Pass.
Today it houses a museum and the Sölker Jesuit Garden.
Exhibitions in 2026:
- NEW: The lost night sky – light pollution and its consequences
- Climate winners! Climate losers?
- The gold of the alpine pastures (Ennstaler Steirerkas)
In the inner courtyard of the castle, herbs and plant rarities can be admired in the Jesuit garden. This is accessible at all times, even outside the castle's opening hours.
