The Cinema Gröbming invites you to an exclusive special screening of the new Austrian feature film “BRUNO – The Young Kreisky”.
As part of the premiere tour, director Harald Sicheritz will personally be present at Cinema Gröbming and will provide exciting insights into the making of the film. Depending on availability, the native of Gröbming Lukas Walcher, who is involved in the film, will also be in attendance.
The film tells the moving story of the young Bruno Kreisky, who finds his way in Vienna in the late 1920s between bourgeois roots and political awakening. As political tensions escalate, he becomes involved, together with like-minded individuals, against the rising fascism and evolves from a youthful rebel into one of the most significant Austrian statesmen of the 20th century. Director Harald Sicheritz thus draws an impressive portrait of the formative youth years of Bruno Kreisky.
Following the screening, there will be a public discussion moderated by Susanne Brundiers. Afterwards, the cinema bar invites you to a cozy conclusion and personal exchange.
