The Austria eXtreme Triathlon will take place on June 20, 2026, for the 11th time. It will be a long and tough day that brings the athletes from Graz through some of the most beautiful landscapes of Styria up to the alpine regions of the Dachstein – with a total distance of 230 km and more than +5,800 m elevation gain.

In the Austria eXtreme Triathlon, the focus is not on timing or podium places but on the shared experience of a great sporting challenge. The Austria eXtreme Triathlon is oriented toward the simplicity and ruggedness of the original triathlon. This applies both on a larger scale – in the tranquil atmosphere away from the noise of large events – and on a smaller scale – in a triathlon, participants run without poles (poles are therefore prohibited).
