Sparkling snow, a white winter landscape, hearing the crunch of snow underfoot, and the warming winter sun on your face… what more could you want? Exactly. An alpaca!

We are excited to introduce you to the world of alpacas and to immerse ourselves in the deep winter landscape around Dachstein together.

Your safety is our top priority; if the snow conditions do not allow for the alpaca hike, we unfortunately have to cancel or postpone it. 

Additionally, we provide free shoe spikes for the hike.

Please observe our rules for alpaca hikes:

Alpacas may only be led by children under 12 years of age when accompanied by an adult.

Hikes are suitable for ages 5 and up.

For all our hikes, please ensure to wear sturdy footwear and clothing suitable for the weather. In cases of heavy rain or thunderstorms, walks and visits must unfortunately be postponed. The decision to postpone our tours lies solely with the organizer. Cancellations are only possible for valid reasons (for example, illness) up to 24 hours before the walk.

Important: the hike is unfortunately not suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. (Exceptions are possible upon request!)

Dear dog owners: Our alpacas have great respect for dogs and keep their distance. In order for you to enjoy the alpaca hikes, please leave your four-legged friend at home.

Umbrellas and sharp objects are unfortunately not allowed.

Liability: No liability for damages due to personal fault will be accepted! If an alpaca escapes because the handler lets go of the leash and the alpaca causes damage, we are insured. The hiker is solely liable for their own negligence due to tripping, getting caught, slipping, etc.!
