6th Mountain Rescuers Fantag

On Friday, June 11, 2027, the 6th Mountain Rescuers Fantag will take place in Ramsau am Dachstein. Experience fascinating insights into the work of the real Ramsau mountain rescue team and the ÖAMTC air rescue C14 – including a spectacular rescue exercise in the morning. In the afternoon, the actors of the TV series "The Mountain Rescuers" will meet fans in the large festival tent.

The breathtaking mountain landscape of Schladming-Dachstein, the original filming location of the popular TV series, provides the perfect backdrop for a day full of action, emotions, and unforgettable moments. Traditional Austrian cuisine, a souvenir shop, and numerous photo opportunities create a fantastic atmosphere.

Ticket Sales Start
Tickets will be available at the end of October 2026 in the Schladming-Dachstein Ticket Shop. We will inform you in time about the exact sales start in our Mountain Rescuers newsletter.

Important Information

Prohibited Items: Drones, umbrellas, laser pointers, and other dangerous or bulky items are not allowed and may need to be surrendered at the entrance.
Dogs: Dogs are not allowed at the event.
Noise Level: The helicopter may cause increased noise.
Food & Drink: Not included in the ticket price. Catering is available on-site.

  Rescue exercise with the mountain rescue Ramsau, ÖAMTC air rescue C14 and actors from the series

• 12:00 – Lunch break in the festival tent (Festival tent Ramsau 350, 8972 Ramsau am Dachstein) Side program with souvenir shop, mountain rescuer merchandise, and selfie point
• 14:00 – Show program in the festival tent Welcome film screening live talk show with the actors
• 18:00 – End of the event

Questions & Answers

• What do I need for admission to the event?
  After purchasing online, you will receive your ticket via e-mail. If you purchased multiple tickets, a separate document with its own QR code will be sent for each ticket.
  Please have the QR code ready at the entrance. After scanning, you will receive a wristband that allows you to enter and leave the event as often as you like throughout its duration.
  Important: Each ticket must be scanned individually. If you purchased tickets for multiple people, each person will need their own ticket with an individual QR code.
• Are there parking spaces on-site?
  There are a limited number of parking spaces within walking distance of the event location. However, we recommend using public buses (line 960), which arrive three times between 08:00 and 10:00 a.m. Get off at the "Ramsau Ort" stop.
• Where is the event taking place?
  The morning program takes place at the Ski Jump Ramsau. Address: Ramsau 319, 8972 Ramsau am Dachstein
  From noon, the program continues in the festival tent next to the Dachstein Event Center. Address: Ramsau 350, 8972 Ramsau am Dachstein
• How far is the distance between the two locations?
  The distance between the event location and the festival tent (opening from 11:30 a.m.) is about 500 meters on a well-developed, flat path.
• What is the terrain like?
  In the morning, you will be on a flat meadow at the ski jump. In the afternoon, the festival tent is set up on a paved parking lot.
• I am a wheelchair user – what can I expect?
  Morning: flat meadow Afternoon: paved ground Barrier-free toilets are available in the Dachstein Event Center (about 500 m away) as well as directly next to the festival tent.
• Am I allowed to bring a backpack and drinks?
  You may bring a small backpack and a drink. Please note: Glass bottles are not allowed. Umbrellas, drones, and bulky items are also prohibited and may need to be surrendered.
• Are food and drinks included in the ticket price?
  No, they are not. On-site catering is available on a self-pay basis.
• Can I pay for souvenirs, food, or drinks with a card?
  No. Since the event takes place outdoors, only cash payment is possible.
• Am I allowed to take photos during the event?
  Yes! You are allowed to take photos of all program highlights and the actors. There will also be a special opportunity to take a group photo with all participants along with the actors.
  Important: Drones are strictly prohibited due to helicopter operations.
• Can I bring my dog?
  No, dogs are not allowed at the event. The helicopter will land and take off multiple times, and dogs are not allowed in the festival tent either. With your wristband, you can leave the event venue at any time to check on your dog.
• Will the event take place even in bad weather?
  Yes, the event will take place in all weather conditions – there is no bad weather, only inappropriate clothing! The rescue exercise can also be conducted in the rain. However, the morning schedule may be adjusted in case of strong winds or heavy rain.
• Is the event suitable for children?
  Since the helicopter will take off and land multiple times during the event, it may become quite loud on-site at times. Therefore, we recommend the event for children from about 5 years old. The decision, of course, lies with the guardians. Please also note that there is limited space available for strollers at the event location. If at all, they can only be placed in the back rows.
• Will the guided hike "On the Trails of the Mountain Rescuers" take place?
  Of course! Sepp will lead the hike from the Mountain Rescuers headquarters to the Emilie farm on Friday at 10:00 a.m. For all Fantag participants, there will also be an additional free tour on the Thursday before at 10:00 a.m.
