We are already looking forward to the new date when you will meet your stars from the popular series "The Mountain Rescuers" again!
The last original mountain rescue fan hike will be remembered as a unique experience. The anticipation for the next edition is already high: This year, you once again have the opportunity to meet the stars of the beloved series in person.
Look forward to unforgettable moments, exciting background information about the current season, and memorable moments in Ramsau am Dachstein – the home of the mountain rescuers.
Program Overview
- Thursday: Check-in at the information office in Ramsau until 6:00 p.m. or on Friday until 9:30 a.m.
Friday: Check-in at the information office in Ramsau am Dachstein until 9:30 a.m. - Friday: Get up close to real rescue workers!
Along new experience stations, you will gain insights into the work of the "real" mountain rescue in Ramsau am Dachstein and the air rescue service ÖAMTC. Additionally, there will be a dedicated props station again this year, and you will have the chance to visit selected original filming locations. In the evening, the well-known fan get-together will take place again at Waldschenke. - Saturday: Saturday will start as in previous years with the hike "In the Footsteps of the Mountain Rescuers" to Emilie’s farm. Afterward, there will be an autograph session with the actors. Starting at 6:30 p.m., the evening event will take place as usual at the Dachstein Event Center – the previous gala dinner has been cancelled. However, there is an option (on a self-paying basis) to have a small meal at the Dachstein Event Center. (cash payment only)

- What do I need for entry to the event?
After purchasing online, you will receive your ticket via e-mail. If you have purchased multiple tickets, a separate document with its own QR code will be sent for each ticket.
Please have your QR code ready at the entrance. After scanning, you will receive a wristband that allows you to enter and exit the event as often as you like during the entire duration. - How far is the distance between the 4 stations on Friday?
The groups will hike from one station to the next according to their division. The total distance is about 4 km, approximately 60 meters in elevation, and can be completed in 1:15h. The route is easy and represents a pleasant walk. - Can I bring my dog?
No, dogs are not allowed at the entire event. Since the helicopter will be on site, bringing dogs is unfortunately not possible for safety and consideration reasons. However, with your wristband, you are free to leave the event area at any time and return later to check on your dog. -
Does the event take place in bad weather?
Yes, the event takes place in any weather. With the right clothing, nothing can stand in the way of a varied and successful day! Should the weather become a little more challenging, we will flexibly adapt the program to ensure that all activities can be enjoyed safely and with much joy. -
Can a seat be reserved for the evening event (Dachstein Event Center) on Saturday?
No, this is unfortunately not possible for organizational reasons. We ask for your understanding, as we want to ensure a fair and smooth process for all participants. -
Is the event suitable for children?
We recommend participation for children from about 5 years old, as they can generally experience the event more consciously at this age and follow the program items better. The decision on whether a child participates is, of course, up to the guardians. There is no separate ticket category for children.
