Welcome to our 3-star hotel Timmelbauerhof and the associated farm at 1,000 m above sea level on the sunny high plateau of Ramsau am Dachstein in Austria. We have been a family business for generations and would like to pamper you with our excellent cuisine using products from our own farm!
Our hotel Timmelbauerhof is nestled in the high plateau of Ramsau am Dachstein, just a few minutes' drive from the major ski mountains Planai, Hauser Kaibling, Hochwurzen, and Reiteralm in the Ski amadé region, where you will find your vacation happiness for the whole family. You can reach the ski bus stop in just an 8-minute walk. Your sports equipment is perfectly stored in our ski room with boot dryer.
In addition to skiing, there is also the opportunity for snowshoe hiking, romantic horse-drawn sleigh rides, and of course cross-country skiing on the 220 km network of trails in Ramsau am Dachstein. The entry to the cross-country ski trail and winter hiking paths are located directly in front of the house.
The friendly comfort rooms in the hotel Timmelbauerhof are decorated in a rural style and equipped with a bath and WC or shower and WC, hairdryer, cable TV, and a sun balcony with a wonderful panoramic view of the Tauern mountains. We are also happy to offer accessible wheelchair-friendly rooms. With our house lift, you can conveniently reach the rooms.
In the morning, we spoil you with a hearty and rich breakfast buffet featuring products from our own farm. In the evenings, enjoy regional dishes with a menu of your choice, a salad buffet, and a selected range of wines and beverages. Upon request, we also serve vegetarian dishes. Additionally, the tiled stove room, the Swiss pine room, the winter garden, and the sun terrace provide a cozy atmosphere for a drink. Relax in our sauna area with a Finnish sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin, and additional outdoor sauna.
For those who are active, there is a recreational room with sports equipment, a game room with table tennis and table soccer available. While you relax by the heated swimming pool in the summer on a sun lounger, the children can have fun at the outdoor playground, with trampoline and swing. Our farm for exploration and discovery, with cows, horses, sheep, and cats will delight your children.
Enjoy hiking in the alpine region, climbing tours, mountaineering, and leisurely walks for the whole family, surrounded by the mountains and beautiful panoramic views of the Dachstein massif. For mountain bikers, we are a central starting point with tour options ranging from 1-hour trips to the 3-day Dachstein circuit. In-house e-bike rental available.
