At Thorbäck Gut – Apartments in the Schlosserhaus, you stay right in the picturesque town center of Öblarn, surrounded by the mountain world of the holiday region Schladming-Dachstein. Here, one can wonderfully arrive, breathe deeply, and spend time together.
The historic Schlosserhaus combines the character of past times with modern living comfort. The newly developed apartments Biddelmann, Anna, and Johann, completed in 2023, have been designed with a great sense of materials, colors, and details. Wood, high-quality fabrics, and tasteful furnishings create a warm, inviting atmosphere. A house with history, where new vacation memories can be created.
Whether it’s a getaway for two, relaxed family holidays, or shared days with friends: The three individually designed apartments offer space for up to four or six people on 55 to 96 m². Fully equipped kitchens, cozy living and dining areas, as well as a private balcony in each apartment give you the freedom to design your vacation according to your own rhythm. Enjoy long breakfasts, cook together, or reminisce about the day’s experiences with a glass of wine in the evening – there is time for all that here.
A special highlight is the private sauna in each apartment. After a hike, a bike tour, or a wintry day in the mountains, the soothing warmth exclusively awaits you. Close the door, let your shoulders drop, and for a moment, you must do nothing: Sometimes, it’s these little moments that make a vacation special.
Directly outside your door, you will discover Öblarn with its historic town center and vibrant culture. The town is closely associated with the writer Paula Grogger and the traditional Öblarner Festival. During the performances of "Die Hochzeit," which take place at intervals of several years, the town center transforms into an impressive stage. However, even outside the festival times, it is worthwhile to stroll through the town and take in its special character.
For excursions, a versatile holiday world opens up around Öblarn: hikes and bike tours in Schladming-Dachstein, nature experiences in the Sölktäler, or a detour into Ausseerland. In winter, the region's ski areas and snowy landscapes beckon. You decide whether your day will be sporty, indulgent, or totally relaxed.
Free parking options at the house, Wi-Fi, and a ski and bike storage room complement your stay. And after every excursion, you return to a place where you can look forward to your own balcony, your private sauna, and a cozy evening.

DEPOSIT: After booking, a deposit of 40 % via our online portal is required.
OCCUPANCY:
Thorbäck Gut – Apartment Biddelmann: maximum 4 persons
Thorbäck Gut – Apartment Anna: maximum 4 persons
Thorbäck Gut – Apartment Johann: maximum 6 persons
LOCAL TAX:
Local tax per person (children under 15 years free): € 2.50 / night. Children under 15 years are exempt from this.
FINAL CLEANING:
Final cleaning: € 95,- (Apartments "Anna" and "Biddelmann") or € 125,- (Apartment Johann) is included in the total price
Bedding and towels are included in the price. A large extra towel per person is provided for the private sauna.
Smoking and parties are not allowed in this accommodation.
Pets are not permitted.
Children under 2 years stay free in their parents' bed. A baby cot can be provided free of charge, subject to availability. Please reserve this in advance with us.
FINAL PAYMENT:
The final payment is due one week before arrival and is made by credit card/debit card.
