At an altitude of around 1,600 metres, nestled in the heart of the picturesque Ursprungalm, our lovingly furnished Stoanerhütte offers a truly special retreat for everyone seeking peace, nature and an authentic alpine experience.
Surrounded by majestic mountain peaks, crystal-clear streams and lush alpine meadows, you will discover the Schladminger Tauern in their most unspoilt and breathtaking form. Whether you are looking for the perfect starting point for hiking adventures, a peaceful escape from everyday life or relaxing evenings in front of the cabin, the Stoanerhütte combines traditional alpine charm with cosy comfort.
Wake up to spectacular sunrises over the mountains, watch cows grazing peacefully right outside your doorstep and end the day beneath a sky filled with countless stars.
The Cabin
The Stoanerhütte features a cosy open-plan living and dining area with a traditional wood-burning stove, creating a warm and authentic alpine atmosphere. A gas cooker is also available for convenient cooking. The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin and shower, while a gas-powered water heater provides pleasantly warm water throughout your stay. The toilet is located separately from the bathroom, just outside the main living area. A staircase in the entrance hall leads to the upper floor, where the bedrooms are located. The cabin comfortably accommodates up to nine guests, offering the perfect place to relax and dream about your next mountain adventure.

Good to Know
The Stoanerhütte is located on the idyllic Ursprungalm at an altitude of approximately 1,600 metres and is easily accessible by car.
Check-in:
Check-in is available either online or in person at the Stoanerhof in Pichl. Guests who complete the online check-in before arrival can collect the key to the Stoanerhütte from the host of the Ursprungalm.
Check-out:
Until 10:00 a.m.
Facilities:
The cabin features a cosy living area with a traditional wood-burning stove and gas cooker, a bathroom with hot shower, a separate toilet and sleeping accommodation for up to 9 guests.
Please note:
- Please bring your own bed linen and towels, or book them in advance if available.
- The Stoanerhütte is a self-catering mountain cabin.
- Pets are welcome upon request.
- Free parking is available directly next to the cabin.
- Final cleaning will be charged separately.
