Schweigerhütte - Neustattalm
Information
The Schweigerhütte at the Neustadtalm
Where nature, art, and joy of living meet
At an altitude of around 1,500 meters, embedded in the pristine mountain landscape of the Dachstein massif, a special place emerges: the Neustadtalm. Here, the BergNatur association aims to create a space with the revitalization of the historic Schweigerhütte, where nature, art, culture, and health can be experienced in harmonious harmony.
Art
The Neustadtalm is itself a work of art – a place where the beauty of nature has an inspiring effect. Artists of all genres find a free space here to be creative, develop new ideas, and shape the dialogue between humans and landscape.
Culture
A central concern is the revival of alpine cooking culture. New culinary paths emerge from traditional recipes and regional ingredients. Chefs are allowed to experiment, reinterpret old knowledge, and explore the world of herbs of the alpine – both in their diversity and their applications in the kitchen.
Health and Well-Being
Sleep, movement, nutrition, and fresh mountain air form the basis of holistic health. At an altitude of around 1,500 meters, the body and mind particularly benefit: the pure air, clear climate, and tranquility of the surroundings promote deep, restful sleep and strengthen the immune system. The association is also exploring how this effect could be further enhanced.
At the same time, the Neustadtalm reminds us of what truly matters: to live consciously, to enjoy, and to return to the essence of being. The ideas "Less is more", "Living in the now", and positive thinking are not just words here but lived attitudes. They invite you to pause, draw strength, and rediscover the beauty of simple living.
