The Schladminger Tauern Apartment is a retreat for those seeking nature, mountains, and relaxation in Austria. Our accommodation is located right at the edge of the forest in Haus im Ennstal, surrounded by the Schladminger Tauern and with a magnificent view of the mountains.
Families with children, couples, and guests with dogs particularly feel at home here. The quiet location amidst nature offers plenty of space to relax, play, and explore. Numerous hiking trails, alpine pastures, nature playgrounds, and mountain biking routes begin right at our doorstep, making our accommodation the ideal starting point for a hiking vacation in Styria.
A special highlight for your summer vacation is the included Schladming-Dachstein Card. As a guest of our apartment, you receive this card for free and benefit from over 100 free vacation experiences as well as numerous discounts throughout the region. This includes a daily free ascent and descent with a summer cable car of your choice, free entry to many swimming lakes and pools, free use of hiking buses and public transport, as well as attractive offers for families, children, and active vacationers. The Schladming-Dachstein Card is one of the most popular guest cards in Austria and makes your vacation even more varied.
In winter, you can reach the Hauser Kaibling ski area and the Schladming-Dachstein 4-Mountain Ski Connection in just a few minutes. In summer, you can enjoy the unique mountain world of the region with its lakes, huts, mountain lifts, and countless leisure activities for the whole family.
We love animals and warmly welcome dogs. For your four-legged friend, we charge EUR 15 per dog per night. If you are traveling with more than one dog, we kindly ask for a brief inquiry before booking.

Check-in is possible from 2:00 p.m. For a more pleasant and flexible arrival, we offer a contactless check-in with a key box. After your booking, you will receive your personal access code, so that an arrival in the evening or at a later time is easily possible.
If you are arriving after 6:00 p.m., we kindly ask for a brief information in advance.
Check-out is on the day of departure by no later than 10:00 a.m. Of course, you can also leave the accommodation earlier at any time.
With our flexible self-check-in and the key box, you can enjoy a hassle-free arrival and departure during your vacation in the Schladming-Dachstein region.

We -- Stefan and Christine with our son as well as our Husky lady Nanoq are enthusiastic outdoor lovers and sports freaks, and we are grateful to live where others vacation. In winter, you will find us skiing on ski tours - where we are offered a variety of options here in the Schladming Dachstein region. Untouched winter landscapes with breathtaking mountain backdrops are a true experience in and with nature for our Husky. In summer, we enjoy being in the mountains, where we can start from home as the ideal starting point. Easy hike? Or perhaps a more challenging tour? We are happy to help you find the perfect ski tour - the right summit or just the best roast pork! We are here to assist you with advice and action and may even share a secret tip or two ;-)
