Welcome to Gästehaus “Zum Steirischen Kuss” in Aich – right in the heart of the breathtaking Schladming-Dachstein holiday region! Surrounded by nature, the Schladminger Tauern and the Dachstein massif, our house is the perfect place for relaxation, active holidays, and culinary delights – in summer and in winter.

After a wonderful day in the mountains, relax on our panoramic terrace or in our cosy Stube and enjoy a peaceful end to the day.
Treat yourself to our small Schmankerl menu featuring homemade specialities, or join one of our enjoyable theme evenings, such as pizza night, barbecue night or a traditional Austrian Brettljause. Naturally, all accompanied by regional delicacies and a warm welcome.

After a fantastic day skiing, you can unwind and enjoy a relaxing evening with us. We serve a freshly prepared 3-course dinner every day, homemade, varied and prepared with great care.
And because holidays are all about freedom, you can decide each morning whether you would like to join us for dinner that evening.
Summer in Aich – Nature & Adventures for Everyone
Just a 5-minute walk from our house you’ll find the Aich bathing lake – with climbing tower, large playground, water trampoline, restaurant, and sunbathing lawn, it’s a true highlight for families.
As a partner of the Schladming-Dachstein Sommercard, you’ll receive the card free of charge from your very first overnight stay. This gives you free admission to more than 100 attractions (including the Dachstein Glacier) and up to 50% discounts with over 100 bonus partners.
Winter Magic in the Schladming-Dachstein Ski Region
- In winter, you are right in the middle of ski fun:The free ski bus stops right in front of our door and takes you in just 10 minutes to Hauser Kaibling – your gateway to the 4-mountain ski circuit with 230 km of slopes.
- The Enns cross-country trail is only 5 minutes away on foot, and Ramsau with its 220 km of trails can be reached in 15 minutes by car.
- Off the slopes there’s much more to explore: winter hiking, tobogganing, horse-drawn sleigh rides, or ice skating.

Check-in from 2:00 p.m., check-out by 10:00 a.m.
Free parking and Wi-Fi are available for our guests throughout their stay.
In summer, the Schladming-Dachstein Card is included in your stay and offers numerous free holiday attractions and lifts.
During the winter months, you can take advantage of our flexible half-board with a freshly prepared 3-course menu daily. Whether you want to dine with us in the evening can be decided easily each morning at breakfast.
For our youngest guests, we are happy to provide a baby or crib bed upon request.
The local tax will be charged separately in accordance with current municipal regulations.
We recommend taking out travel and cancellation insurance to ensure you are well covered in case of an unexpected event before or during your trip. Suitable travel and cancellation insurance can, for example, be obtained through the European Travel Insurance.
The General Terms and Conditions for the Hospitality Industry (AGBH 2006) apply.

Contact & Directions
You can conveniently reach us by car via the Tauern Autobahn A10. Take the exit Ennstal/Graz and drive through Radstadt and Schladming to Aich.
Coming from Vienna, Graz, or Linz, you can get to the exit Liezen via the Pyhrn Autobahn A9 and then drive along the B320 Ennstal federal highway towards Schladming to Aich.
We are also easily accessible by train. The Aich railway station in the Ennstal is only a few minutes away from our guesthouse. We are happy to assist you in organizing a taxi for the final stretch.
For guests arriving by plane, Salzburg Airport is the closest international arrival option. From there, you can conveniently reach Aich by rental car or train.
We are happy to assist you in planning your trip even before your arrival and to help you with questions about flight, train, or transfer connections.
Free parking is available for our guests directly at the house.
Our guesthouse is located in the southern direction opposite the war memorial at the east entrance of Aich.

Meet the Gunsing Family
We are Jerry, Else-Marie, Zeth and Jyoti Gunsing. In 2014, we left the Netherlands behind and moved to beautiful Austria to make our dream come true: running our own guesthouse in the Schladming-Dachstein region.
Since then, we have been happily managing our small and welcoming guesthouse with 10 guest rooms. As a family, we are personally involved in the daily operation of our guesthouse and are always there for our guests. Personal attention, hospitality and a relaxed atmosphere are very important to us.
What makes us special is that we not only provide accommodation, but also enjoy sharing our love for the region. Whether you are looking for the most beautiful hiking trails, fun family activities, a cosy restaurant or tips for the perfect ski day, we are always happy to help.
In summer, our guests enjoy the panoramic terrace overlooking the Schladminger Tauern, the included Schladming-Dachstein Card and our cosy Schmankerl menu featuring homemade specialities. In winter, guests can relax after a day on the slopes and enjoy a freshly prepared 3-course dinner.
We speak Dutch, German and English and do our very best to ensure that every guest enjoys a relaxing and unforgettable holiday in the Austrian Alps.
