Warm welcome to Fürsterhof on the sunny high plateau of Ramsau am Dachstein - here you leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind and spend the most beautiful hours in the company of family in the comfortable and cozy ambiance of our house.
Surrounded by green meadows and forests, you can enjoy relaxed country idyll at Fürsterhof. In summer, Fürsterhof is a natural paradise and the ideal starting point for dreamy hiking routes and countless mountain bike trails around Ramsau and the entire Schladming-Dachstein region. In winter, the cross-country ski trail runs right past our farm. You can reach the ski slopes of the 4-Mountain Ski Lift Planai, Hauser Kaibling, Hochwurzen, and Reiteralm, the year-round ski area of Dachstein Glacier, and the ski region Ramsau am Dachstein with Kalis Erlebnis slopes in just a few minutes by car.
Life at Fürsterhof combines traditional elements with modern living comfort. We offer newly renovated double rooms and family rooms, furnished in country house style with shower and WC. Most rooms have a balcony that offers a view of the imposing mountain world of Dachstein and the Schladminger Tauern. In the morning, a hearty breakfast buffet made from many farm-produced, homemade products like ham and sausages awaits you in our farmhouse parlor.
We also breed Scottish Highland cattle, which frolic in our pastures and give Fürsterhof a unique flair. In summer, our Highland cattle are on “summer pastures” in the Ramsauer alpine region. The culinary philosophy of our farm is based on local and regional products. For strengthening during hikes or as a souvenir for your loved ones at home, you can choose from a wide range of sausage and ham specialties from our own production.
With us, you get what you expect from a holiday in the countryside. It does not matter what time of year you come to us. Ramsau and its distinctive landscape are diverse, and life on the farm offers lived customs and traditions, culinary specialties, and a particularly warm atmosphere.
In winter, in addition to the ski slopes and trails in Ramsau am Dachstein, there are many other opportunities to enjoy the wintry sunny days. Horse-drawn sleigh rides transport you to a romantic winter world, and seemingly endless winter hiking trails let you feel the crunch of snow under your feet.

we're Marietta and Richard from Fürsterhof and we specialize in direct marketing of our Scottish Highland cattle. Our animals live on our farm in species-appropriate conditions and are cared for with lots of love and attention. This includes not only our delicious cured sausages but also a variety of fresh meat packages that we prepare fresh for you.
In addition to direct marketing, we also offer cozy rooms with breakfast on our idyllic farm. Here you can enjoy the peace and beauty of nature, start your day with a hearty breakfast, and breathe in the fresh country air.
