Welcome at the holiday house Knaus!
Our holiday house is directly in the center of the valley Untertal-Rohrmoos, in the middle of the beautiful elevated plain of Schladming-Dachstein. It’s a very quiet and cantral position, beneath the river Talbach, where you can enter into the hike of „Wild waters“. The bus stop is just 1 minute to walk from the house, also the WM-City Schladming ist 10 carminutes away, but you can also take a 35 minute walk through the Talbachklamm to the city. In summer and also winter you can easily get in at the bus stop (1 minute to go) into the great hike- and skiarea Schladming-Dachstein. For our crosscoutryskier the slope isn’t far.
The holiday house is perfect for groups up to 10 persons, but also for families. In front of the house there is a small yard and a carboard. The apartments a fully equipped and have a balcony. In addition there is a big breakfastroom and lounge with a bar for a cozy meeting.
The holiday rooms have 2-3 bedrooms, kitchen, anteroom, bathroom with a bathtub and a double washbasin and also one separate toilet. In addition, the apartments are equipped with a television (with a satellite reception), kitchen and fridge, electric cooker or backing oven, microwave, coffemachine, hairdryer, radio, dishes, bed linen and dish towels. Our guest are able to surf in the internet with the free Wifi of Schladming-Dachstein.
Leisure time facilities in summer is our houseown achery course at our farm Schieplechnerhof. An unforgetable adventure with bow and arrow in the nature with 23 3D targets for everybody a great big drill ground to shoot in, also good for families, groups and association. For beginners there is an expert entrollment and you will get top equipped with our rental facilities. For our housguests, who stay longer than 3 nights will a get one free entry for our archery course.
Explore the fantastic hikingarea around Schladming-Dachstein. More than 1.000 kilometers hikingtrails, countless huts in the Alps a more than 300 mountain lakes are waiting for you. As a partner of the Schladming-Dachstein Sommercard, our guests have access to over 100 free holiday experiences and more than 100 bonus services. The ski slopes also include the entrance into the kilometers of the world-famous 4-mountain ski area. Of course, there are numerous snowshoeing and winter hikes, as well as the night-lit toboggan run from the Hochwurzen, which is accessible at any time of the day, even off the slopes, numerous possibilities to make the winter holiday unforgettable.

Our houseown bow course for archery offers a great big drill ground and a Parcours through the forest, directly beneath the house, with 23 3D targerts. If you stay longer than 3 nights in our house, you and your family can use the archery course once including the equipment and the professional training for free.
We are also Partner of the Sommercard AG, what means, that you will get the Schladming-Dachstein Sommercard for free and you can use more than 100 attractions for free, like gondolas or hikingbusses and much more.

Arrival with the car
Vienna:
South highway (A 2), Semmeringer expressway (S 6), Phyrnhighway (A 9) to Liezen – afterward at the Ennstaler federal highway 320 in the direction to Salzburg to the gateway Schladming and than up to Rohrmoos.
Graz:
Phyrnhighway (A 9) to the node St.Michael, afterward the same highway to Liezen. After this the same way like vienna.
Linz: Westhighway (A 1) or Mühlkreishighway (A 7) to the node Voralpenkreuz, afterward at the phyrnhighway (A 9) to Liezen, after this the Ennstal federal highway B 320 to the gateway Schladming
Sazburg and Innsbruck:
Tauernhighway (A 10) in the direction to south. At the node Ennstal leave the highway to federal highway B 320 in the direction to Graz and then to Schladming.
By train
You can go with the bus to the bus stop “Untertal Dorf”
