Winter hike during Advent in Ramsau am Dachstein
For many, it is still an insider tip, for others it is already an annual tradition.
The starting point is the restored Old Mill in Rössing. From there, the route takes you along the Hofrat-Gruber-Weg, stylishly decorated and illuminated for Christmas, and the idyllic Philosophenweg, past the sites where 9 of a total of 64 Ramsau water mills once stood, to the Waldschenke in Ramsau Ort.
Traditional customs, atmospheric sounds, and traditional crafts follow.
Indulge yourself with delicious delicacies and the menu of the rustic and cozy Waldschenke, which welcomes hungry Advent guests.
