An exciting race awaits all participants and visitors at the "Loserbergpreis-Revival", where the drivers of the historic vehicles will take on the local mountain of Altaussee: the distinctive mount Loser. The Motor Veterans Club Ausseerland organizes the Loserbergpreis-Revival in memory of Werner Kuchler.
Historical gems, challenging hairpins & a breathtaking mountain backdrop
On this day, nostalgia and motorsport ambition fill the mountain air of the Ausseerland region: At the Loser Bergpreis Revival in Altaussee, historical vehicles from times gone by meet against the impressive mountain backdrop surrounding the lake Altausseer See. Each classic car tells its own story - of racing passion, pioneering spirit, and handcrafted precision. All historical motorcycles and sidecars up to the year 1960 can participate, taking on what is surely one of the most beautiful mountain roads in the Salzkammergut region: the mount Loser Panoramic Road.
For the brave riders, the challenge is to master a course of 9 kilometers with an elevation gain of around 800 meters. The race starts at the Loser Arena in Altaussee. Participants must not be distracted by the breathtaking scenery around mount Loser. With skill and courage, they must conquer a total of 15 hairpins to reach the goal, the "Loseralm" at an altitude of 1600 meters above sea level. In this race, speed is not what counts! The aim is to achieve two identical time runs as closely as possible.

Registration is permitted for historical motorcycles and sidecars up to the year of manufacture 1960. Registration is required by May 31, 2026 at www.amvc.at .
