Filming Location - Protestant Church Ramsau

The Protestant church is located in the heart of Ramsau Ort and can often be seen in the background of the mountain rescue center in the series. Joyful occasions, weddings and also sad scenes are filmed here. 

Ramsau professed its Protestant faith as early as the 16th century. Planned by the Nuremberg architect Hans Kieser, the foundation stone of the church was laid in 1888. Thanks to the support of the Gustav-Adolf-Verein, the energy and financial commitment of the locals, a church with an impressive 750 seats was built. After around seven years of construction, the church was consecrated in 1895. 

The church is not only a historical monument, but also a popular photo motif. It is also worth taking a look inside the church.
