Holzmuseum Murau

Since 1988, the Wood Museum in St. Ruprecht ob Murau has been showcasing the fascinating diversity and uses of wood across more than 10,000 m² of indoor and outdoor exhibition space. The museum offers your groups an engaging insight into one of nature’s most versatile raw materials.

Changing special exhibitions throughout the year further enhance the visitor experience. Additional bookable activities such as traditional grain milling demonstrations or entertaining wood-themed competitions provide guests with a truly unique hands-on wood experience.
