The historic horseradish mill has been owned by the Muster family since 1874 and is currently operated as a wage and commercial mill. The mill is driven by a water wheel, which can be viewed from the outside. Another special highlight is the 200-year-old grain bin, which is the central exhibit in the old mill.
In the past, the mill was in operation day and night, with the water wheel only being switched off on public holidays or when repairs and maintenance work were being carried out. Since 1960, the mill hours have been continuously reduced as demand was increasingly met by large companies. Today, the Krennmühle is still in operation. We ask larger groups to book in advance.Tip: the Krennmühle is located on cloverleaf hiking trail no. 1 and cloverleaf hiking trail no. 2. It's definitely worth stopping for a bite to eat!
