Every Thursday from 7.30 pm live open-air concerts take place on the main square in Schladming!
In summer, an open-air concert takes place every Thursday on Schladming's main square. Starting at 7:30 p.m., Schladming-Dachstein Nights will present an excerpt from the diverse musical spectrum.
The band HUAT dresses blues and folk rock in the garb of Styrian dialect. Echoes of Jack White are combined with Ennstal dialect and stories from the life of singer, guitarist and bandleader Marco, "Huat" Hutegger. Big topics like loss and lost love (Weitergångan weitergspüt, Wolknmeer) are processed as well as snapshots (Frau beim Café) or a more than 100 years old poem from the pen of Huat's great-grandmother (1921). HUAT are one thing above all: always authentic, full of energy and infected with a good portion of rock'n'roll.
Ennstal meets rock and blues. Blues harmonica meets distorted and acoustic guitar, bass and drums. Jack White meets the young Led Zeppelin for a Schladming beer and it sounds like they have relatives here. That's what HUAT sounds like.
