Göss Abbey is the oldest monastery in Styria with architectural and artistic treasures.
Of particular art-historical interest are the early Romanesque crypt under the choir of the church, the early Gothic frescoes in the Chapel of St. Michael and the imposing roof truss of the church.
Also well known is the "Brunnhöfl", which is still largely preserved. In the showroom of the monastery you can also admire a reusable Josephinian coffin from 1784, which can be opened downwards.
