The Farmers' Market at Kaiser-Josef-Platz is one of the most traditional markets in Graz. For over a hundred years, fresh products from the region have been offered here, in close proximity to the opera and the Heilandskirche, six days a week. Around twenty producers bring vegetables, fruits, dairy products, meats, or baked goods directly from the farm or bakery into the city.

Regionality is not just a buzzword here; it is part of everyday life. Many vendors have been coming to the market for generations, and for regular customers, personal contact with the producers is just as important as the selection of products themselves.
