Almwirtshaus Altes Almhaus

On the Stubalpe, at an elevation of 1,649 meters, the Old Almhaus serves dishes in good, old inn tradition: honest, regional, and focused on the essentials. Those who stop here experience authentic, regional cuisine – hearty, seasonal, and rooted in Styrian tradition. The kitchen is at the heart of the action, making the Almhaus a popular destination for wandering gourmets and excursion guests in the Graz Experience Region.

The rustic guest room with a wood stove and the scenic sun terrace create an atmosphere where one enjoys lingering. Outside, the Lipizzaner stallions graze on their summer pastures, and those eager for activity can try their hand at the on-site archery course.

For those who wish to wind down the day, simple, cozy rooms are available – equipped with wood, a view into the greenery, and either shared or private bathrooms. This way, a day full of flavor, fresh air, and relaxation in the Graz Experience Region can be concluded in peace.
