Erlebnisregion Graz
Feldkirchen bei Graz
The indisputable highlight far beyond the municipal and regional borders are the passion plays. Father monsignor Josef Gschanes launched the "Play of Life, Suffering, Death and Resurrection of Christ" already in 1973.

About the region
However, Feldkirchen is also "sporty": plenty of cyclists come to the relaxing sixth and penultimate day stage of the Mur cycling path. The entire route leads from the High Tauern National Park to Bad Radkersburg - through Feldkirchen and some of them take a cosy rest here in the southern Mur floodplain.
In addition to beautiful cycling trails and running paths, there are also skating facilities, an asphalt track for curling and tennis courts.
