Adventure trail to the smoke house, Anger near Weiz

Open
A challenging hike from the idyllic resort of Anger up to the local museum Rauchstubenhaus and Gasthaus Almer in Edelschachen. Beautiful places accompany you there.
An eventful hike at 800 m above sea level to the "Rauchstubenhaus" a small local museum with rural exhibits. The 300 year old farmhouse high above Anger, was inhabited until 1967. Guided tours take place several times a day from Thursday to Sunday.

We start in Anger and lead first along the "Zetzbach" to the main square Anger. Then it goes over the "Erzherzog Johann Stiege" to the "Schönen Aussicht". After a somewhat strenuous climb, we reach an access road that leads us past a farmstead. We follow this road to the Rauchstubenhaus and Gasthaus Almer where we can fortify ourselves with culinary delicacies.

On the way back you will reach a historical building - the castle ruins of Waxenegg (not accessible for safety reasons),

but you can book a historical tour - Lost Place Tour directly with Mr. Erich Brandl or via the Slow-Trips website.
