Circular route Hauserersee

Open
A stunning circular trail that takes in the pearl of the region, the Hauserersee (lake). This shady route is especially good for hot days ‒ including a refreshing dip in the lake!
For this longer, yet not very difficult tour, it is best to prepare well as there are not many places to stop for refreshment on the way. If you decide to do this hike to the Hauserersee on the Kreischberg, please take at least one bottle of water and some food for a small rest. On the way, you can refill your bottle with wonderfully fresh, cool spring water. The hiking trail starts off by leading us into the Lorenzergraben (the first stretch of about 7km can be traversed by car) up to a gate, after which you can only proceed on foot (vehicles and bikes are forbidden from this point, but can be parked here). From here, it's a sedate walk through the forest until reaching the Hauserersee, where a rest and a dip in the mountain lake awaits. After this, continue along the circular route until returning to the start.
