Customs & Museums

Styria has institutions across the country that are dedicated to the topics of customs and folk culture. Some museums specifically highlight Styrian customs and folk and everyday folk culture.


From the north of Styria to the south: In the Kammerhof Museum in Bad Aussee, guests of Ausseerland are told the stories and folk culture of the region. At the Trautenfels Castle, the history and culture in Styrian Ennstal and Ausseerland are highlighted in more detail. The viticulture museums in the south, on the other hand, are all about the wine, such as Gamlitz Castle, which reflects the history of Styrian viticulture.
