Bad Aussee Alpine Garden
The Bad Aussee Alpine Garden was founded in 1913 on the grounds of a former quarry. Nestled in a picturesque old garden, visitors will find over 2,000 different wild and garden plants. Numerous themed gardens provide information about medicinal plants, toxic plants and magical plants, mountain plants and others. A small exhibition room, display beehives and a small playground complete the offer. Special nature adventure programmes are arranged for groups of children and school classes.
