Art Garden, Culture Room & Open Air Museum
The Art Garden in a Graz settlement, which was built in 1933 according to a design by Eugen Székely, uses garden art to convey access to contemporary art. A varied programme from exhibitions, film, literature and theatre to music, symposiums on current topics and workshops for adults and children take place here. In keeping with Agenda 21, an attempt is made to raise awareness and improve the quality of life in the real and virtual artistic space of the garden. Like architecture, gardens convey the aesthetic and functional conceptions of their creators and the cultural circumstances of their origin.
