MÜHLDORF Fischteichrunde: Hiking for young and old in Feldbach (MÜHLDORF Fischteichrunde)

Passing the Mühldorf Chapel on the right, we walk along the road and follow the arrow to the Vulkanland Fish Center. Arrived in the Taxberg forest, we look for a nice place to tune in: We mobilize the joints and with a few deep breaths we connect with nature. Leisurely and with our senses awake, we then walk along the Edelsbach stream, which meanders through the forest. Where it is accessible, a short rest on the bank is recommended. After about 40 minutes we reach the fish ponds, a refreshment stop for thirsty hikers. Now, behind the third pond, we go up a forest path on the left, at the top we keep left and walk along the road back to the starting point.

Character of the path
The mostly asphalt path with a short incline leads almost continuously through the forest. It is suitable for strollers, the route from the inn to the fish ponds and back is also suitable for wheelchairs.

At the fish ponds snack is available by reservation (Tel.: 0699/19567533). In the ponds are carp, trout, pike-perch, catfish and pike.
