Since the beginning of 2017, AUSTROVINYL GmbH has been operating Austria's first and currently only record press in an adapted 300-year-old town house in Fehring in south-eastern Styria. Under the "AUSTROVINYL" brand, it offers the full range of services: from the in-house lacquer cutting studio and electroplating department to production on the latest, fully automated vinyl press and ready-for-sale packaging. And all this with the highest quality, optimized delivery times, fair prices and individual design. The ground-breaking ceremony for the ERDF-funded AUSTROVINYL WERK 2 project took place on February 8, 2022, with the declared aim of enriching the Thermen- & Vulkanland region not only with a pressing plant, but also with a showpiece. The "transparent factory" offers visitors the opportunity to learn more about the history of vinyl records and their production process during guided tours as part of the "World of Business Experience".The "AUSTROVINYL WERK 2" experience is rounded off by a café/bar/club and a merchandise store where the latest productions and releases from the two partners AUSTROVINYL and Napalm Records as well as many vinyl classics and specials can be listened to and purchased on site.
