The Lannach Cultural Committee opens the cultural gateway to Schilcherland. The goal is to put both Austria-wide known and up-and-coming Lannach artists in the cultural spotlight.
The annual highlight of the cultural committee is the Lannacher Kulturherbst (September to December), where the public is offered a wide range of different cultural events.
Most of the events take place in the Steinhalle Lannach:
In 2004, the Steinhalle Lannach opened its doors. Located at the gateway to the Schilcherweinstrasse, the dynamic and up-and-coming market town of Lannach has invested in the future and built a cultural and event center that meets today's requirements for events of all kinds to the highest degree. In the architecture, the regional characteristics were incorporated. Thus, a large part of the building is made of original Stainz gneiss, which blends harmoniously into the overall appearance of the building. Current events in the Steinhalle can be found at www.steinhalle.at.
Other venues in Lannach include the library in the town hall, the parish church, the Kranerwirt inn and the town hall square.
