The "Schreinerhütte" is located in one of our favorite places at about 650 m above sea level with a fantastic view over the whole valley to the Koralmspeik opposite.
The place itself offers beautiful sunsets in good weather.
The hut is the remnant of a former small farm, and has always been a special place of strength for the "carpenter mother".
In summer there is company from our curious calves (young cattle) and during the mushroom season the mushrooms grow almost in front of the door.
To the next Buschenschänke it is just 2 km walk - but you should not forget the headlamp.
The hut is a self-catering hut with barbecue facilities, without electricity and running water, but with a spring in front of the door and an outhouse. It can be heated with both wood and gas - the same applies to the cooking facilities. Local tax, wood flat rate and bed linen are included. In the bedroom there is a double bed and 2 single beds.
It is easy to reach by car, from the center of Eibiswald it is about 5 km with a driving time of about 10 min - access is possible via a forest road to about 50 m before the hut.

The hut has bed linen and extra blankets. For each person a towel and a washcloth is included. In the kitchen you will find a tea towel, a kitchen towel and a pot holder. To enhance your food and drinks are in the kitchen oil, vinegar, salt, pepper and sugar. Coffee and tea are available for free use. Also in the kitchen are an espresso maker and coffee filters with a 1x4 attachment. A battery pack is provided for charging lamps and cell phones. There are also candles for a romantic atmosphere and lamps with rechargeable batteries. Furthermore, there is a battery charging station, a table stove and a fireplace.
You can park directly in front of the cottage.
Transportation:
It is located close to the hiking trail from Eibiswald to Kapunerhütte ( No.: 590) - and has accommodation for up to 4 people. However, it should be booked for at least 3 nights.
It is, like our "Holzknechthütte", also an ideal starting point for numerous hikes in the region (Grenzpanoramaweg -Pongratzen - Remschniggalm - Radlpaß - Slovenia), but you can also just relax and enjoy the sound of the nearby Stammereggbach.
