World champion cheese
Franz Möstl's famous cheeses have been ripening in the Arzberger Silberstollen since 2009. There are now 14 types of cow, sheep and goat. During a guided tour through the mine, interesting facts about cheese production and the uniqueness of the Arzberger Stollen cheese will be given and a few types of cheese will be tasted afterwards.
Cheese delicacies can be bought in the associated Almenland gourmet shop in the pit house. There are also many other Almenland specialties and gift ideas for loved ones.

Pleasure shop in the pit house
The 14 different types of cheese made from cow, sheep and goat can be bought in the gourmet shop. There are many other specialties from and around the Almenland Nature Park. You can also find great souvenirs to take home or for gift ideas for loved ones in the gourmet shop. The cheese specialties can also be purchased in the online shop.
The cheese wheels are produced in the Leitner dairy in Tulwitz. The Arzberger Stollenkäse varieties are submitted to international cheese awards year after year and receive excellent prizes for them.
After putting on protective clothing, you go to the ripening tunnels, where the many types of cheese can be found. The master cheese makers tell a lot of interesting facts about the production and maturation of the cheeses. Afterwards the cheese is tasted in the cozy "pit house". Optionally, this can be accompanied with wine.

Opening times farm shop: The pleasure shop in the Grubenhaus is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (and during guided tours).
