Our Zirbenhof, awarded with 3 ***, is situated at an altitude of 1200 metres above sea level on the sunny plateau Ramsau am Dachstein in Styria. We combine typical Styrian hospitality with modern Alpine style. Attention to detail such as stone pine and traditional loden cloth decorations provide for a cosy atmosphere right from the entrance area. The central yet quiet location of our house allows for your ideal recreation and offers, at the same time, a perfect entry to the 200 km of cross-country trails, the 70 km of winter walking paths, as well as direct access to the family-friendly ski area at the Rittisberg with Kali’s Adventure Ski Runs. You stay in a fully equipped holiday flat that is right beside the Zirbenhof. It is built in blockhouse style, offers room for 2 - 3 persons, and has its own entrance, a bedroom with a private bathroom, as well as a spacious sit-in kitchen. The comfortable double or family rooms in the main house all have a sunny balcony with unique panoramic views to the surrounding mountains of the Schladming Tauern and the picturesque Dachstein. In the mornings, fresh fruit, bread-rolls, and the scent of fresh coffee or tea await you at the rich breakfast buffet. In the evenings, we serve a set 3-course dinner in our rustic, cosy lounge. In winter, you can end the day at the fireplace, while you might enjoy the evening hour in summer outdoors, on the sun terrace. Enjoy the mod cons of your holiday flat, and feel free to book breakfast or half board additionally. A sports shop with ski rental service, the ski and snowboard school for big and small, as well as the free of charge ski bus to the Dachstein glacier and to the ski ‘amade’ area are reached within two minutes by foot from our Zirbenhof. In Ramsau, there is also the distinctive walking paradise at the Rittisberg with its fairytale walk, and the further manifold mountain hikes as well as the via ferrata tours in Ramsau’s Alpine pasture region can be started right at the hotel. Go for a night-toboggan run at the nearby illuminated 3.5 km long natural track, or for a swim to the swimming lake, or skiing with the whole family, and spend some adventurous quality time together. Active athletes will be thrilled having the option to go paragliding, freeriding, mountain biking, climbing, or golfing. After an adventure-filled, exciting day out, you can recharge your batteries in our new bright and inviting wellbeing area with a Finnish sauna, an infrared cabin, and a heated bench. Your sports gear is safe in our ski storage room with a heated boot rack. For our guests, wireless Internet is available free of charge at the Zirbenhof. We are looking forward to your stay!
