Once a gravel pit, today this up-to-date recreation centre has opportunities for sport, a camp site with fixed pitches, catering and a lakeside pavilion. The depth range of 3-10 metres ensures the lake’s permanent, practically potable water quality, which is nevertheless subject to regular testing by the Graz hygiene institute. Röthelstein recreation centre is located near Frohnleiten, just 30 kilometres to the north of Graz.

Es war einmal ein Schotterteich und ist heute ein modernes Freizeitzentrum mit Sport-Möglichkeiten, Campingplatz mit Fixstandplätzen, Gastronomie und Seepavillon. Die Wassertiefe von 3-10 Metern ist Garant für die gleichbleibende Trinkwasserqualität des Teichs, die jedoch auch regelmäßig durch das Hygieneinstitut Graz geprüft wird. Das Tieber Freizeitzentrum liegt nahe Frohnleiten, nur 25 Kilometer nördlich von Graz.
