A route for every season. Explore the Schilcherland of Greisdorf and the surrounding area on foot. 
The first part of the route leads uphill from culinary Greisdorf, along the road towards Sommereben. The route continues mostly on asphalt to the Sommereben Chapel. From there it is downhill back to Greisdorf.

From the north: Motorway Munich - Salzburg - Eben - Schladming - Liezen onto the A9 towards Graz. Exit at Lieboch and follow the B76 towards Deutschlandsberg/Stainz. A9 is subject to toll - Gleinalmtunnel. Alternative: At St. Michael take the S6 towards Bruck and in Bruck take the S35 towards Graz. On the B76 in Schlieb turn right to St. Stefan ob Stainz until the next crossroads, here turn left. Continue towards Stainz and after the village of St. Stefan ob Stainz take the first right and follow the road towards Greisdorf.

From the west: In Villach take the A2 towards Klagenfurt. Take the Steinberg exit and drive in the direction of Stainz. After St. Stefan ob Stainz, take the first right and follow the road in the direction of Greisdorf.

From the east: A2 Vienna - Aspang - Hartberg - Fürstenfeld - Graz. From Graz continue on the A2 in the direction of Klagenfurt and take the Lieboch exit in the direction of Stainz/Deutschlandsberg/Eibiswald. Follow the B76 to Deutschlandsberg/Stainz. On the B76 in Schlieb turn right to St. Stefan ob Stainz until the next crossroads, here turn left. Continue in the direction of Stainz and after the village of St. Stefan ob Stainz take the first right and follow the road towards Greisdorf.

From the south: A1 from Marburg to Leibnitz. Exit in Leibnitz (Gralla) and continue on the B74 in the direction of Deutschlandsberg, take the second exit at the roundabout in Preding, after approx. 2km turn right onto the L617 in the direction of Stainz. In Stainz, drive through the town centre in the direction of Graz, at the Spar-Markt crossroads turn left into St. Stefan. Just before St. Stefan turn left and follow the road towards Greisdorf.

The route starts in Greisdorf. From here, walk uphill along the road towards Jagawirt. At the crossroads after the Jagawirt, take the road on your right. Follow the road through Schwarzschachen. After five kilometres, turn left at the crossroads. A subsequent gravel and nature trail leads you further through this village until you arrive at the Sommereben Chapel. From there on, the trail goes downhill. You will pass Gasthof Wassermann and Gasthaus Reinbacher. Stay on the road, which will take you directly back to Greisdorf. The 13.5 km were certainly exhausting. Refresh yourself at one of the numerous wine taverns and refreshment stops in Greisdorf and the surrounding area.
No connection to the public transport network!
Possible in Greisdorf at various inns.
